Privacy Policy for LiveMotion

LiveMotion (“LiveMotion,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information is processed when you use the LiveMotion mobile application, including the Live Wallpapers and Live Conversion features.

LiveMotion is designed to create, convert, preview, and save Live Photos and live wallpapers on your device. We aim to collect only the information needed to operate, improve, and support the app.

1. Information We Process

Photos, Videos, and Live Photos

When you choose a video, photo, or Live Photo in the app, LiveMotion processes that media to provide the feature you requested, such as creating a Live Wallpaper, converting a video into a Live Photo, exporting frames, previewing motion, or saving the result to your Photos library.

Your selected media is processed on your device. We do not upload your personal photos, videos, Live Photos, or exported wallpaper files to our own servers.

Photos Library Access

LiveMotion may ask for permission to access your Photos library so that you can select media and save generated Live Photos or Live Wallpapers. You can manage this permission at any time in iOS Settings.

App Usage and Analytics Data

We use Firebase Google Analytics to understand how the app is used and to improve product quality. Analytics may include events such as app opens, video import success or failure, trim range changes, preview playback, export attempts, save results, paywall views, subscription plan selections, purchase attempts, and restore attempts.

Analytics events may include limited technical or usage parameters, such as:

– The area of the app where an action occurred.

– Whether the user has premium access.

– Approximate video duration buckets.

– Approximate output duration buckets.

– General failure categories, such as file size, duration, codec, export, save, or purchase errors.

– Offer type selected, such as weekly, yearly, or lifetime.

We do not intentionally send photo names, video names, raw media content, precise file contents, captions, contact lists, or private user-generated media to Firebase Analytics.

Google Analytics for Firebase may generate and use app-instance identifiers and may collect technical information such as device, app, and usage information as described by Google. Google processes this information under its Firebase and Google Analytics terms and privacy documentation.

Purchase and Subscription Information

If you purchase a subscription or lifetime membership, the transaction is processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your full payment card number, billing address, or other payment credentials.

LiveMotion may receive purchase status information from Apple, such as whether a subscription or entitlement is active, so that we can unlock premium features.

Support Communications

If you contact us by email, we may receive your email address and any information you choose to include in your message. We use this information to respond to your request and provide support.

2. How We Use Information

We use information for the following purposes:

– To provide core app features, including importing, previewing, converting, exporting, and saving Live Photos and Live Wallpapers.

– To maintain premium access and restore purchases.

– To understand app performance, feature usage, and conversion flow quality.

– To diagnose errors and improve reliability.

– To respond to support requests.

– To comply with legal obligations and App Store requirements.

3. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share limited information with the following service providers only as needed to operate the app:

**Apple:** for App Store purchases, subscriptions, purchase restoration, and Photos library permissions handled by iOS.

**Google Firebase / Google Analytics:** for app analytics and usage measurement.

These providers process information according to their own terms and privacy practices.

We may also disclose information if required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of users, LiveMotion, or others.

4. Third-Party Services

LiveMotion uses or may interact with the following third-party services:

Apple App Store / StoreKit for subscriptions, lifetime purchases, and purchase restoration.

Apple Photos / PHPicker / Photo Library APIs for selecting and saving user media with your permission.

Firebase Google Analytics for app analytics.

5. Data Retention

Media that you select or create in LiveMotion is generally processed locally on your device. Temporary files may be created during conversion or export so the app can generate the requested Live Photo or Live Wallpaper. These files are used for app functionality and may be removed by the app or by iOS storage management.

Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics and Firebase settings and retention practices. Support emails are retained only as long as reasonably necessary to respond to you, improve support, or comply with legal requirements.

6. Your Choices and Controls

You can control your information in several ways:

Photos access: Manage access in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Photos.

Analytics controls: You may limit certain device-level analytics or advertising settings through iOS privacy settings where available.

Purchases: Manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID subscription settings.

Support requests: You may contact us to request deletion of support communications that we can reasonably identify.

Because LiveMotion does not operate user accounts, some requests may require enough information from you for us to identify the relevant support communication or app-related record.

7. Children’s Privacy

LiveMotion is not directed to children under 13 years old, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

8. International Users

LiveMotion may be used in different countries and regions. If information is processed by our service providers, it may be processed in countries other than your country of residence. Where applicable, we rely on appropriate legal bases and service-provider terms for such processing.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information processed through the app. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and may provide additional notice where appropriate. Your continued use of LiveMotion after an update means you accept the updated Privacy Policy.
